I am a very eclectic artist. I started with knitting and embroidery and went on to drawing, painting and anything to do with making art.
Handsculpted polymer dolls got me into my first art gallery. Today I still use polymer in my mixed media collages.
My work has been described as abstract expressionism. Myth, magic, ancient cultures and fantasy novels are the inspiration for the art I create.
My current passion is an extention of my love of polymer and mixed media. I create wearable art sculptures. Each is designed and handcrafted by me from the pendant to the closure.
My mixed media collages are made with handpainted papers, paint, spackle, polymer and even egg shells. I use Photoshop to create one of a kind papers using my old artwork and photos. Bold bright color and texture are used to create depth to the piece.
To say I am obsessed with art is an understatement. I create art daily and I am constantly experimenting with new concepts and techniques.
I have been published in 3 different mixed media books and features on numerous polymer websites.
